The lid has a dome shape for better heat convection. It fits snugly around the pot, trapping steam inside. The handle is heat resistant up to 260°C. An inner stoneware lid is included to prevent water from boiling over. The cast iron heats evenly and retains heat for a long time. How to use: The roasting pan is designed for cooking rice (and other one-pot dishes or soups). It is also perfect for baking small loaves of bread. It can be used on gas, electric and induction cookers as well as on the ceramic hob. It is also suitable for ovens. Materials used: Created from enamelled, easy-care cast iron. Good to know!
