Tasmanian Digital Television began transmission on 22 December 2003 on digital channel VHF-11. In August 2004, the signal expanded to North-Eastern Tasmania (including Launceston) on UHF-43 and to Kelcey Tier, Devonport in 2006. The rollout would continue over the following years including the rest of the North-West Coast, the West Coast and the East Coast before the digital switchover in 2013.
